Aluminum alloy sand core casting process detailed introduction

As Die Casting Products are frequently used in our daily life. A lot of different material parts like: Stainless Steel Casting, Aluminum Die Casting,Aluminum alloy casting, Bronze Casting Parts, etc. can be seen everywhere. Today we would like to introduce Aluminum alloy sand core casting process which is mainly used for forming and processing a variety of raw materials, such as casting sand, sand binder and other excipients, as well as sand, sand core, paint, etc., they are collectively referred to as modeling materials.   The task is to select the right raw sand, binder and auxiliary material according to the requirements of the casting and the properties of the metal, and then mix them in a certain proportion into a certain type of sand and core sand.   Commonly used sand mixing equipment includes drum type sand mixing machine, countercurrent type sand mixing machine and continuous type sand mixing machine.   The latter is designed for mixing chemical self-hardening sand, continuous mixing and rapid mixing. 

The core and shape of aluminum alloy sand core casting are based on the requirements of casting process.  On the basis of determining the modeling method and preparing the modeling materials, the casting precision and the economic effect of the whole production process are determined through operation.  In this process, in many modern casting workshops, molding and core-making is mechanized or automated.  Commonly used aluminum alloy sand core casting equipment includes high, medium and low pressure molding machines, pneumatic stamping molding machines, box-less Injection Molding machines, cold core box core-making machine and hot core box core-making machine, coating sand core manufacturing machine and so on.

After the sand mold is removed from the casting cooling mold, the castings with spays, risers and metal burrs adhere to the sand and must be cleaned.  Equipment used to perform this work includes sanding machines, shot blasting machines, dumping risers, etc.  Sand falling of Sand Casting is a process with poor working conditions.  Therefore, in the selection of modeling method, it should be considered to create convenient conditions for sand falling cleaning.  Some castings need to undergo special post-treatment requirements, such as heat treatment, molding, rust treatment, rough machining, etc.

The processing technology of aluminum alloy sand core casting can be divided into three basic parts, namely, Casting Metal preparation, mold preparation and casting treatment.   Casting metal refers to the casting production used for casting metal materials, it is a metal element as the main component, and the addition of other metal or non-metal elements and composition of the alloy, commonly known as casting alloy, mainly cast iron, cast steel, copper and nonferrous alloy casting.
